On the 11th of February, IEEE UP Student Branch organized an Arduino workshop, so that the participants could learn the foundations of this easy to use open-source electronics platform.
This edition of the workshop, however, was proposed to us by the local BEST group who wanted to organize a session of internal development for some of their members.
The main topics discussed were basic electronic and programming skills needed to use and understand the Arduino concept. The workshop lasted two hours, and with live demonstrations of real Arduinos performing tasks as reading inputs and giving an output, to reach certain goals, the audience was certainly captivated.
After the workshop, we received very positive feedback from the participants, saying that they liked the hands-on approach.
